The Cumberland River

We've had limited experience on the Cumberland River so we only have one marina to report on.

RDB = Right Descending Bank, LDB = Left Descending Bank

Mile 31.7 LDB  Green Turtle Bay Resort - Grand Rivers, Kentucky.  This is one of our favorite marinas.  The slips have power, water, and cable TV.  There are good laundry facilities.  The Commodore Yacht Club offers excellent food with a view overlooking the marina.  You can rent Golf Carts to drive into Grand Rivers where you'll find the famous 2" pork chop at Patti's and groceries, etc.  They have condos available if you don't want to stay on the boat.  Kentucky Lake is a short run through the Barkley Canal.
